This sounds like a very interesting prompt! An idea that just crashed into my mind is. . . what if we told a story about or similar to Revelation? I think it would be really interesting to write the experience and feelings from John’s perspective and to contrast the fear, confusion, and awe he must have felt while viewing the visions. It would be a dream, except one that you knew would eventually become reality. But if you were John, would you even be emotionally stable enough to believe it? He must have seen some really high-tech devices in the future and been so baffled as to what they could be and how advanced society would be by that time. Maybe he could have asked God what they were, but God may have decided not to reveal certain things to him yet? And seeing the Beast and the mark of the Beast must have scared him to death!—that is, if one could die during such an important dream which God needed him to write. I think retelling Revelation would be a very powerful and engaging story for this prompt!

Or if you guys want to write a story with comedy, maybe we could write about a character dreaming of what his  take of Revelation might be like, only to wake up to a sibling blasting/practicing his trumpet in the other room? XD
