@jane-maree Okay, so last night my sister @selah-chelyah and I were up past midnight last night brainstorming ideas. We have an idea we like, so here it is. You guys can see what you think of it.
So, the character is the king’s chef. The kind has ordered a giant pizza to be made for his royal birthday party. While trying to gather the special and finest ingredients and make the pizza, every possible thing goes wrong. Some ideas we had were, while going to market or wherever to get vegetables or something he is robbed by theives and maybe gets beat up a little, his cart breaks down or horse spooks, dogs steal his food, and when he goes to make it he accidentally gets the kitchen on fire. So now he has lost all the special foods, he has no dishes and things from the kitchen, and only bruises and burns for his efforts. The party is only a few hours away and the chef is in a bumbling panic. He gets asparagus, grapes from the vineyeard, fish (maybe some little kid does the fishing for him), eggs from the henhouse and milk from the cows, he gets flour and such from the king’s storerooms, and he covers the whole thing with a ton of cheese from the place where they are curing (likley knocking over a shelf of them in the process) so that the king cant see whats really in it. He bakes it in the royal potter’s kiln on a huge pottery wheel. He rushes in the king’s celebration at last minute with the pizza, still a mess. The king pronounces it the very best pizza he has ever eaten!
Well, anyway…let us know if you like the idea or not. I hope it still doesnt sound cliche.
