@evelyn Thanks! I was actually considering writing a humorous Parimi legend called Aurelius and the Iron Dragon or something like that. I have a few good ideas for it.

@consciousdreamer @evelyn How about the different classes/schools are more like occupations? For instance, each person in Parimi Alca could have one “occupation” such as

Dragonkeepers
Cartographers
Inventors
Warriors
Scholars

and others that we’ll think up eventually. Each class will have a different identifying symbol (which can be added as a charm to their bracelet, if they want a bracelet). And I’m not sure we should have a caste system exactly, especially if we Parimis decide to become parts of different classes… *shrugs*

Let me see if I can explain that better. I would choose the “Cartographer” class for myself since I intend to draw a map of Parimi Alca one day. To people of other guilds, I would say that I am a Cartographer of Parimi Alca, or a Cartographer of [the capital of Parimi Alca, which could be called Alca or Calima, though I’m leaning toward Calima]. I will admit that I drew this idea from the signature of a person in another guild. 😛

A guardian dragon is one that keeps us safe from…hmm…maybe giant sea creatures that try to attack our harbor villages and rogue dragons that live on the mountain (which could be called Mount Parimi)? It can also be ridden. A shoulder dragon is one that can be used to send messages, catch food (like a hunting falcon), and keep down pests. Shoulder dragons are essentially baby dragons that will grow into guardian dragons.
