Everyone’s seems to have great points 😀

But I think we’re forgetting character relationships. Sure you can show character personality and bonding over pure conflict but you can’t have a character tell about his family history on the battlefield or while they’re questioning if they can trust each other. You should never purely stop any conflict till the end because that can make a saggy middle or a boring story but we should keep in mind that our stories don’t need to have the conflict engaged at all times, sometimes it’s better to foreshadow for a bit to keep the reader there but have the things we couldn’t have the other way.
