RIGHT?  Like first of all, burning to death is an absolutely horrific way to die, but she wasn’t even completely dead afterwards!  And this all happened RIGHT IN FRONT OF NIAROK

Poor Niarok, who tried so desperately hard to protect her, to restrain her.  It’s absolutely horrific and it’s very, very good

MY THOUGHTS!!! I had to figure out some way to kill her that would leave Niarok completely torn up and struggling and then this happened. I was NOT expecting the burning to death and then well…

And it makes me so happy to hear that!  I’ve been feeling more and more socially isolated in in-person groups recently, and just as it started getting worse God provided me with Story Embers.  I can’t even begin to express how much I love and appreciate you and all of the other amazing people in this chaotic little forum we have here!  I’m so thankful for this community we have here, and I’m also very thankful to be able to get to know you guys’ stories like this!

I’m so happy that we’re making your life a little better! 😉 GOD DOES THAT AND IT’S AWESOME AND I LOVE HIM lol I had no idea how much impact SE was going to have on my life either but then I became friends with all of y’all and… wow. Just… wow. 😀 THANK YOU FOR BEING AWESOME!

Also, you say my characters are awesome but I’m warning you ahead of time that Basil has somehow, against all odds become  e v e n  m o r e  insufferable, but tbf it has a lot of context in story.  Just a heads up though lol

Oh goodness. THIS MAKES ME HAPPY and also very very very terrified… XD I can totally see Evie and him butting heads multiple times in the space of five minutes right after everyone finishes dying and burning and freeing and/or killing captives and- well, you get the idea. XD

ALSO I have more Basil art and plenty more coming up for a school project (what can I say, he’s fun to draw xD) so let me know if you guys want to see more character art
