What is the plot of your novel (if you know)? I really loved writing crime and I also really love fantasy. The genre has less to do with it than the kind of story it is though. I really like talking about harder issues through the modicum of fiction. I hope that makes sense.I agree it does. I hope to weave Christian moral applications into my story with the main focus to show why it is always important to do what is right no matter the cost. I will also be using the story to explore morals of honor, integrity, and faith and why those are important as our world is losing sight of them.
I am progressing the overall story through 3-4 eras of technological advancement. My first series begins with fantasy dark/medieval ages then to steampunk/renaissance age. The next series will most likely be industrial/modern age, and then 3rd series = space age. The first series will involve a small nation that discovers the main character and take her and her remaining people in. Through their encounter, they then learn of a dark plan unraveling on the land that threatens not only them but everyone good person and creature of worldwide genocide. They must discover who is behind these grand-scale horrific attacks as darkness stirs and unites both monster and human alike for one goal, to destroy the world. These attacks turn out to be the military brilliance of a scientist madman who awaits for the world to fall apart to unleash the might of his countless legions. The villain’s agents will utilize hatred, corruption, chaos. and cowardice within the different factions to make the land ripe for the harvest. This will be the biggest obstacle for the main character to unite everyone under her banner as she proves the impossible so they will be ready to make their final stand. That final battle of the world will decide its fate and also unmask truths of the world as well as the universe.
There will be lots of espionage, assassinations, murder, and theft. A good portion of the wars will be fought in the shadows. I plan to include a lot of mysteries that will use elements from assassin’s creed and tomb raider of exploring/discovering truths in ancient ruins to find out the identity of the villain puppeteer pulling all the strings. Plus they will learn old and invent new technology which I am really looking forward to exploring those possibilities.
I hope that all makes sense. The plot is way larger but that is the best I can describe so far in a nutshell.
I am hoping to go into biblical counseling or perhaps spiritual counseling. I’m not sure just yet. What did you go to college for/are you going to college for? That’s awesome! I would say that goes super well together with your writing expertise if you ever plan to write Christian devotional books.
I went for Business Management with an accounting focus. I love business and economics but I also love writing, cybersecurity, graphic design, 3d modeling, animation, foreign linguistics, and computer programming/web development. I have not finished college yet mainly due to expenses and life changes but also I am not sure what I would focus on as I am often considered a jack of all trades. XD Right now a lot of things have been put on hold and I feel God has directed me to work on my writing skills first before going through the rest of my interests. Once my novel is complete, I might create an animated version of the story using my growing skills in graphic design, 3d modeling, and animation.
I like Captain America from the recent marvel movies but I grew up watching spiderman all my life. So I would say my favorite is Spiderman.
