Excerpt from The Talisman, chapter 2 (found here: https://www.wattpad.com/story/135693611-the-talisman-a-1001-nights-retelling-wattys2018-on ):

    His eyes.

They were the first thing she noticed about him as she turned, dark obsidian orbs flecked with gold and brimming with secrets. They contrasted his bronze skin, toned as it was with the Middle Eastern sun. The muscles in his arms rippled as he raised an eyebrow at her boldness.

BUT WHAT CAPTIVATED HER most were not his eyes, his muscles or even the air of arrogance about him. It was the talisman that rested gently against his breast, suspended by a brass chain and boasting a fire red ruby as its centerpiece.

It was magnificent. Azade caught her breath as the moonlight reflected the razor sharp facets. One touch could draw blood. Yet he didn’t seem to mind. He seemed accustomed to the pain, numerous scars surrounding the talisman attesting to the validity of the statement.

Of course, Azade murmured. Once you get accustomed to the pain nothing matters anymore. She knew that from experience.

In my story, the talisman is the main, magical object of attention. Can you tell from this paragraph or no?
