I feel bad that I wasn’t around to help this time guys, but it sounds like you did great without me. 🙂

I haven’t read the submissions yet (I was going to but froze at the very first sentence because I suddenly realized I was about to go to bed and I DO NOT want to read emotionally impactful death scenes right before bed. Sorry. I will read them in the morning, after which I will go to my happy place and never come out…), but congratulations to everyone who worked on it! 😀

I probably wouldn’t have been much help anyway, because I’ve actually never written a death scene before… unless you count that random scene I wrote as a reflection of death describing the aftermath of chickens being slaughtered by a neighbor’s dog which somehow made my family laugh.

It wasn’t supposed to be funny, so… it was kinda a complete failure. I haven’t tackled death since. I really should, though. :/
