So, I have this idea. We all need a creative boost now and then, so I came up with this fun little challenge to get those creative juices flowing!
I’m going to try to explain it as best I can, but if it’s confusing let me know. Basically someone comes up with a writing prompt and then he/she challenges someone to a mini war. (And if war sounds too intense then, you can call it friendly competition, but being the crazy writers that we are, I’m sure war sounds much more appealing. 😜) They can then tag 1-3 people to be a judge. The judge(s) can then vote on who wrote the best piece based on the prompt and also provide feedback/critique.
Here are the basic rules:
- You can tag an individual or leave it open to anyone
- The person challenged has 24 hours to respond (or whatever time agreed upon).
- Keep it relatively short (500 words max.)
- Don’t read the other person’s work until you’re done with your own.
- Have fun!
Hopefully that makes sense, let me know if you have questions or suggestions. I’m going to post a prompt soon, so stay tuned!
