Lorcan is from a modern dystopian fantasy setting. Its a word where basically the British empire is still around except the royal family has been taken over by Faeries and have conquered the world through their powerful military forces. Its based on the idea of what if Ireland never got its independence and has been under Imperial rule for approximately another 300 years? The story is a little bit on the patriotic side ahahahaha😅

I won’t be revealing Lorcan’s species yet, although I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep it a secret for long loll. Its sort of complicated too and there are sort of twists and reveals about his lineage that I will be writing in. I can’t wait to see Misu interact with him 🙂 especially because I get the impression that they might have different moral compasses. Lorcan generally does things in order to give himself the upper hand in some way or another. What about Misu?

Do you watch anime?  I don’t watch a lot of anime, but right now I’m just obsessed with Haikyuu.  It actually inspired me to consider starting volleyball, and I never considered myself to be a sports person!

I don’t watch a lot of it either – but I think it’s definitely growing on me😂. Honestly that is the last thing I thought would ever happen cause I hated it for a long time. But I absolutely adore the Studio Ghibli films, especially Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle. My favourite film of all time has to be A Silent Voice, its just so beautiful😭. As for shows I am absolutely obsessed with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Lorcan is actually based on a couple characters from that show😊. Right now I’m watching Attack on Titan and bruhh the <i>music😱</i> All of the songs are just so <i>very</i> Lorcan bahahaha💕

I’ve never seen Haikyuu is it any good? I personally think I would be more into the fantasy and sci fi genre when it comes to films and shows in general, but I’m always up for new things 🙂

I think that 2-d animation is severely underated when it comes to adaptations.  My secret dream is to get an anime adaptation of the Silmarillion, but I don’t have much hope that it will ever happen lol

Same! I really don’t like this new animation that Disney and other animations studios are doing. Maybe thats why I’m so into anime now, its because I long for the days of good old fashioned 2d animation haha. And you never know, the Silmarillion might get adapted into anime someday. We just have to hope😊
