“A change that will rattle Saorsa to its core. We’ve usurped and now a murderous tyrant terrorizes us. But we are rebels, so we rebel and we make a mess.” A flicker sparking in her eye as she spoke. “We guard a successor as told in the stars. It is our job–the Nyx–to secure his safety. And after we crush Rohana into little smithereens,” she used her hands to replicate a crushing gesture. “He will take the throne and all will be right with the world.” She smiled as if that explained everything.

Lupa was, in actuality, very bad explaining. She hated to admit it, even after Ryuu had very bluntly, and sarcastically, pointed it out multiple times before.
