The door slammed open, and two girls jumped into the room, weapons held at the ready. The one with auburn hair brandished her sword menacingly, and the blond girl was poised with an arrow feather at her cheek.

Hermione jumped back and grabbed her wand, but the two new girls seemed to relax after seeing everyone in the room.

“Mercedes, I thought you were the last one,” someone said.

Hermione stepped forward and smiled at the girls.

“Hello. Welcome to the Castle,” she said. “I’m Hermione. What are your names?”
