I had another idea. Maybe some characters get separated from the rest, and the main group has to leave without them. And then the separated characters rescue everyone on the battle cruiser.

If we were to do this maybe we could switch it up so the characters who haven’t seen a lot of each other are together.

Solstice and Goane ran toward the front gate. They watched in confusion as the wolf-people began a frenzied retreat.

“Where are they going?” Goane asked. “Why are they running off?”

“I don’t know, but it really helps us,” Solstice said, and then pointed. “Look, there’s Masters Zeinli and Ivaylo! If we hurry we can catch up with them before they reach the ship!”

Goane nodded and resumed running. “Let’s go!”
