And you’re fine, I’ve been a little busy anyways.

Solstice and Goane quickly made their way through the smoking rubble of the droid factory. A heavy layer of ash and soot coated their clothes and skin. Twisted and deformed pieces of metal and machinery littered the ground.

“I’d say we did a good job, wouldn’t you?” Goane said.

“Yes,” Solstice said, wrinkling her nose at the stench of burnt metal. “We’d better head back now. We don’t want them to leave without us.”

“Yeah,” Goane agreed, and then started in the direction of the gate. “But they wouldn’t leave without me.”

“Oh really? And why is that?” Solstice asked with a small smile of amusement.

“I’m too adorable.”

Solstice rolled her eyes. “If you say so, Goane.”

After a few minutes of trekking through the blast zone, Solstice halted. Goane stopped a moment after her. Goane turned and met Solstice’s eyes.

“Something went wrong,” Solstice said. “I can tell. The plan’s changed,” she looked to where the sounds of battle came from, eyes wide. “Hurry, we have to get to the gate and help them!”
