You’re good. I hope you had a good trip!

(And yes, detonators were what I was thinking too.)

Solstice crouched atop one of the large generators and stuck the magnetic detonator to the metal surface. She jumped to the next generators and attached several more of the small bombs to them.

“All ready up here,” she called softly down to Goane.

“Good. I’m almost finished with mine,” Goane said, tossing and catching a detonator casually as he scanned the room. He pointed to a small computer next to one of the machines. “Go see if that terminal can tell us where an exit is.”

Solstice nodded and leapt down. After several quick taps she located a small map.

“Well… there’s no official exit near us, but…” Solstice looked up to where a wide pipe led upward from one of the generators. Goane paused and followed her gaze. He warily eyed the pipe, and the shrugged.

“Hey, climbing up that thing beats getting shot at,” Goane grinned as he placed the last detonator and started over to her.

Solstice scrambled up the generator and ignited her lightsaber, beginning to cut through the metal. The pipe sizzled and sparked as the plasma blade bit into its surface. Steam hissed as it escaped the hollow pipe.

The commotion nearly masked the sound of approaching droids.

Solstice heard the droids a moment too late.

“Solstice, look out!” Goane shouted just as the head droid fired. Solstice felt Goane shove her to the side using the Force. A blaster bolt grazed her shoulder, zipping past the exact spot her head had been a moment before.
