Yep, I do! I think when I first joined KP I hadn’t started writing historical fantasy yet. My first attempt at the genre was… a year and a half ago? But I totally agree, there are not enough historical fantasy books out there. Your WIP sounds super cool! If you ever need an alpha…… XD

So, my novel takes place in a different world but it’s based on the 1870s. The protagonist Jamie lives on the streets and is terrified of what people think of her. AKA she has really bad social anxiety. So sets off on a journey with her best friend Keldan (whose parents are rich) to look for a lost princess because she wants the reward money. Along the way, though, they realize there’s a lot more to the lost princess than they originally thought. They meet a small group of people who have magic (they’re called the Given) who are also wrapped up in everything. The story is really about Jamie’s identity — what the world says she is versus what God says she is. Of course, there’s a character in the story who symbolizes God. He’s not an actual deity in the story. XD So… yep! The plot is kind of complicated and even though I’m on the second draft I still have things I’m figuring out. Oh well XD

I haven’t yet read those! I definitely want to at some point though! I actually don’t like sci-fi very much. I’m not sure why, but I’ve just never really been able to get into anything sci-fi. But it’s C. S. Lewis, so I’ve gotta read it XD
