I am going to go ahead and write Theseus in because I feel like he would have a lot of fun in this setting. Please tell me if I get any details wrong.
Theseus Robinson awoke from his slumber to the crack of thunder. As he clawed his way from the depths of sleep he realized that something was not right. He lay upon a hard surface, most likely of stone from the bumpy feel of it. He could no longer sense the presence of his friends around him.
Not again, I really do not want to be kidnapped again. I was hoping I would get a break from this!
As he lay, he attempted to sense everything he could in his surroundings before his captors realized that he was awake. Suddenly he realized that his backpack was still grasped in one hand, while his sword belt rested in the other. Failing to sense anyone around him, but knowing that this didn’t mean anything, he sprang up from where he lay, pulling his sword from it’s scabbard as he did so. He landed in a defensive stance and scanned his surroundings in an attempt to diagnose any threats.
As he looked around he realized that he was alone in a large stone room. In the middle of the room sat a large table with what appeared to be a parchment of some sort. On the other side was a great, old, green door. After a short internal debate, his curiosity won out over his good sense and he moved over to the table, sheathing his sword and slinging his pack over his back as he went. The parchment contained what appeared to be a foreign country of some sort, but after he blinked it contained a map of his own world. Realizing that he would learn nothing from the map, he ventured over to the door and plucked his lock-pick set from his wallet. As he inserted them into the lock, his picks suddenly vanished. Greatly disturbed he reached into his wallet again and found his picks sitting back in their regular place. Recognizing that some strange power was at work, he turned away from the door and set out to explore.
As he circumnavigate the room, he came upon a shadowed hall that he had failed to notice earlier. Because of the blackness in the hall, he pulled out his flashlight and shone it into the blackness. The first thing that he noticed was the multitude of doors down each side of the hall. As he started towards the first one, a bright red door with an intricate knocker, he heard stealthy noises farther down the hall. Pulling his sword and dimming the light till it barely glowed, he started towards the noises. As he neared the end of the hall he saw a dim form standing outside of a plain brown door as though eavesdropping.
Thinking to himself that this might be one of his captors, he dove at the form and threw it to the ground where he dropped his sword and began wrestling with the form.
