@chalice beautiful story! Absolutely loved the sacrificial love displayed by Quinn and Zuri’s relatable questioning about how she could possibly be loved. It might be good to give a bit more indication of setting though. Also, I’m wondering if Zuri married Quinn specifically so she could take the kingdom down. Not sure you have room to go into that in the story, but if she always viewed herself as bad, then maybe she made him fall in love with her on purpose. Kind of Samson and Delilah-esque (also with the pillars).
