Grr, yes! I have several books like that…the reason I don’t want to read certain books is solely because of the writing style. 🙂 I am spoiled now, being a writer and writing what I wish I could read all the time. XD And I have this all-too-natural little editor bug in my head now, as well, which dings ALL THE TIME when reading some books. I can’t read nearly as fast as I used to be able to…I have to analyze and mind-edit everything I read in my head now. Apparently I am a permanent editor-writer now. Blessing and a curse! Lol.
