How do you write your poetry? Do you get some inkling of an inspiration like one or two lines that sound amazing then write them down? When you write poetry, do you always do it with a purpose or sometimes just let your mind wander? This is usually how I write my poetry and sometimes I have to completely revise them so that they actually have SOME merit and meaning. Anyway, I’ll get one or two lines then it all flows onto the page. Sometimes I write something and have no idea what it means. Then I get to create its meaning, which is interesting because it’s like I’m dissecting my own poetry. What I mean here is how do you begin and end your poems and by what process if any?
