Hi, Veraza! It’s nice to meet you, too.

I love your idea of working on something else when the main project motivation just isn’t there. I’ve done similar things in the past and it does definitely help to write something different. I have, however, been derailed from going back to a project due to starting a new one which I really don’t want to happen to my current WIP. Maybe I’ll write a scene I’ve been wanting to write that might not make it into the book simply to have fun with the characters. Or maybe I can write something short that doesn’t have to do with my current WIP as a break, say 500 words or so.
