When his uncle took him under his care, Will was mostly left to himself to deal with the pain and heal from it. Because of that, he now thinks that he must deal with pain on his own. He’s been taught not to bother people with his problems, so he doesn’t. He thinks it weakness to show the pain and he can’t be weak because he’s training to be a knight.
