Oh yes. Almost every time I write a book the character is struggling with some aspect about themselves, then partway through I realize it’s something I’m dealing with too. It’s… cool. And can also be very convicting.

I am under the firm conviction that writing is something that does us good as people, even if no one else were to read it.
