I love late-night writing time. Something about staying up to write is really inspiring. Unfortunately, I now have a job that requires me to get up at 4am… I haven’t utilized that particular trick for a long while.

Writing sprints and parties are also very helpful and fun. I haven’t had one of those for a while either, but they always help me stay motivated to pump out words.

I also like to mix it up sometimes and try writing something I don’t usually write. For example, I usually write epic fantasy from a guy’s POV- so to mix it up when I’m lacking inspiration I try sci-fi from a girl’s POV or an action scene or something.
