Hi Rochellaine! My name is Lindsey and I’m rather new to the forum. I’ve been stalking this conversation for a long while because it’s hard to find fellow historical fictioners. (Most people write fantasy, lol…and for someone who doesn’t, it’s kinda hard to find anyone to relate to).

I think you and I have a LOT in common, and I was wondering if you would be willing to be become a writing partner/friend/future beta reader for me. I am always looking for more, but for personal reasons I can’t be on Story Embers very much, if at all. I do most of my writing conversations via email and Google Hangouts, so I was wondering if you had either of those and if you would be willing to help a sister out? 🙂

My story is about the Wars of the Roses, a medieval civil war in England during the 1400s. As of right now the story is 14 books long (give or take) and history-rich in atmosphere and characters. I’m in the outlining phase still and will be for a while, but I would love to bounce ideas off of a fellow historical fiction writer while I do it.

If you are too busy or don’t feel comfortable, I understand…when I made friends with some people from Kingdom Pen we startled off hiding our real names from each other, lol. 😀
