Guys… I’ve barely gotten anything done this past week. I mean reading and writing related. I’ve been working at a camp, helping host people at our house, and trying to keep up with some other work.

But! Doing this checkup helps me stay energized and accountable.

What I read – Beowulf. At least part of it…

What I wrote – Maybe the equivalent of 1000 words..? Last week was a blast of activity though so good news! I’ve finally caught up to the point in 51 that I had written to story-wise in my first draft.

What I learned – Working at a camp with six to eight-year-olds is one of the best things ever. But also exhausting.

Other – A friend who runs a photography business offered to take pictures free of charge of my calligraphy samples! Goodness… I am so thankful.
