Personally, I’m for Karthmin’s ending. It seems reminiscent of the Matrix story, how there are in fact multiple repeating versions of the same event. It’s a bittersweet ending.

I do like Amy’s idea of everyone’s deaths being a direct result of Player One’s actions, which combined with Karthmin’s idea, implies that he will do better the second time around, just like in a video game.

However, thematically, Karthmin’s idea seems to support playing against the rules, while Amy’s shows the consequences of doing so. We should come to a consensus as to which the story is really about.
