@taylorclogston

I’ve been talking to my recently graduated Graphics Design friend about cover design. Neat stuff.

Ooh, that is neat. I’m actually considering going into graphic design for college. And it’s awesome you’ve gotten the submission pretty much squared away. I hope you win the contest! 😀

@evelyn I totally agree with you about Joann’s. Once I went in to buy fabric for a cloak and came out with three large bundles of clearance fleece to make blankets. xD

What I read- Through the Looking-glass by Lewis Carroll. I really enjoyed this book. There’s nothing like reading a few crazy, nonsensical conversations to gain a new perspective on life. 😛 I also read a kid’s book by Lois Walfrid Johnson called Raiders from the Sea and now I’m waiting expectantly to receive the next books in the mail.

What I wrote- A few paragraphs about a dimension-traveling delinquent called Echo and a masked shapeshifter called Hawk. (It was inspired by a dream I had.) I also did more editing on my book.

What I learned- How to sew strips of fabric together to make quilt blocks. (It’s a lot cooler than it sounds, trust me.)

Other stuff- Drawing with pen and ink is really fun.
