I kind of see two ideas running:

1) A story being told to the reader

2) The reader not knowing who they are exactly

We could combine them… I’m in the fantasy camp, personally. I like the idea of “Death” (a character) dropping clues maybe leading up to the reader’s death, and then they’d realize they were dead.

Thinking about this makes me realize that the trouble with second person is that it’s tricky to make the main character a character, since it’s the reader…
