I really needed this article. I’ve been looking at my finished first draft of my first novel (which needs quite a bit of editing and some re-writing) for nearly four years. I’ve done some brainstorming, and some outlining, but still haven’t found the motivation to actually write out anything. I’m really wanting to complete this project so I can move on to writing other things. These points helped. 🙂

My writing methods are just like yours, @jane-maree. I like to have all my obligations out of the way before sitting down to write. 🙂
