@brandon-miller  Thanks!! I will definitely check out those books!!

This is actually kind of funny–so, I’ve only written one story, and that one isn’t even more than a few scenes… *silence* (a sad, sad result of no outline)

But, I may have *cough cough* read almost all of K.M. Weiland’s articles on her blog, many articles by Kindom Pen and Story Embers, purchased and read K.M. Weiland’s workbook on outlining novels, and perused her e-books on characters arcs and character development. When I try something new, I usually read up on the subject before I start, so I can do whatever it is effectively.  So…I may have done too much theorizing and not enough writing, and I am trying to change that. 😀

    *cough*

So I do know some about story structure, but I am having a bit of a hard when I have conflicting ideas I want to happen in the story. It seems like I should just start writing. (maybe)

So far I have the motives of the MC, tension, stakes, conflict, the MC’s Ghost, the Truth the MC needs, the Lie that they believe, and the theme and focus question decided. I have the skeleton cast and a relevant setting. The main elements behind my story are laid out, and I just don’t want to outline yet before I get a feel for the story.

So I’m going to go for it!! 🙂
