Solid advice, there’s so much to be learned from good authors! I take notes on almost every book I read, the only problem is aside from my Bible and the book I read for Bible study I haven’t really read anything else for months. It’s difficult for me to find the time. I do listen to a lot of audiobooks, but that tends to be while I’m working so I’m not often taking notes.

That being said, I’m always interested in hearing about great books to read. 🙂
