I loved it Starship Troopers! Which really surprised me. I was excepting more blood and guts and language kind of thing, but it was so thought-provoking and philosophical. I thought the author did a great job avoiding “info dumps” too, and wove in the mood and characteristics of the world quite nicely.  It was so well written and I enjoyed the unique feel of the character’s voice. I thought it was very engaging, but none of my classmates liked the book at all. And really same with anyone else I’ve talk about it to, so I’m glad to see that you liked it too!

However, I as well did not agree with everything he promoted, but that did not take away from my enjoyment of it. 🙂

I enjoyed a fair amount of the books this school year, but that and To Kill a Mockingbird and The Old Man and the Sea were my favorites.
