@kjames0813 I’ll be praying for you, Kayla! I totally understand not finding the joy in writing sometimes. It definitely happens. All I can tell you on that front is to keep moving forward, but don’t be afraid to slow down, enjoy other things, or even take a break from writing if need be. Refuel. Recharge. Don’t let it start to become a mundane stressful task. Sometimes you have to step away, or cut back a bit to rekindle the flame of fun, but you can do it.

And I’m not a freelancer, but I have been rejected by 5 (and counting) publishers for my novel, so I feel your pain. But don’t give up! As much as those rejections hurt, they are absolutely normal. All writers get rejections. We get lots of them. So don’t feel like it’s an indication that you’re not cut out to be a writer, or that no one will ever love your stuff and publish it.
