Oh yes, that’s very true. Fear is not always a bad thing, sometimes it’s good, even life saving! Sorry I should have clarified that I was talking about the strong, binding type of fear, the type that can hold us in slavery.
That’s cool that you write fantasy too! I mostly write his-fic and contemporary, but am currently writing fantasy. 😉
Wow, your story sounds so good! (And nice job on the description, I an horrible at creating nice, short descriptions of my stories. They always end up awkward and confusing. UGH.😛)
Your other story sounds fascinating too! I could see how it would be interesting and disturbing at the same time.
Um…uh, heh. Well, as I mentioned before I am wretched at descriptions but I’ll take a shot at it.
Flynn, son of Faragor, spent five harrowing years locked up in prison, paying for crimes he did not commit. Now he is free, but the hate and bitterness that festered within him for years still haunts him and he swears that will have revenge…or die trying.
It’s basically a story that asks the question: Is revenge worth the price we must pay to attain it? Is it worth the darkness and pain it brings? (That was technically two questions but whatever…I told you I was bad at this.)
So, yeah, there you have it. 😉 How far are you along with Shards?
