@dekreel if you still needed the instructions.
In the WordPress sidebar(you can find it by clicking My Site in the upper left hand corner), click Customize, then Widgets, click the bar where you want the Widget to go (probably Sidebar), then Add a Widget, use the Search (or scroll) to find Social Icons, paste the URL* of your account into the designated box, it should automatically put the correct social icon, Done. Also you can change the name of Widgets. 🙂
