I take a deep breath and reply. “I’m doing better. Even though there’s still a lot of work, I think I’ve learned to live with myself rather than basing my identity on my accomplishments. For the first time in my life, too, I’ve come back to God every day telling Him that even though there are some things that don’t feel okay, I can entrust those to Him. So I’m at peace.”
