    While I understand that cheesy stories with bad characters may not be considered a “great” in historical terms, I think they still have a rather heavy impact on the general viewers’ perceptions and values (who, unfortunately, may not exercise a lot of analysis). An example would be when many of today’s big film series/franchises lean towards a radical/modern feminist take, and with the large audience that include boys, there are non-traditional/conservative and non-Christian subtle/subliminal messages and perceptions and worldviews and values that are communicated. I think Lenin is often given the credit for the quote “A lie told often enough becomes the truth.” For people without the foundation of Biblical standards, “truth” is a perception as well as gullibility to being mislead. The media plays a huge role in shaping people’s perceptions. And this is something I’m rather concerned about in the current media/Hollywood.

    I totally agree with what you said about female characters needing to be humans. 🙂 So true!
