I haven’t finished LOTR either, but I agree, I like the Hobbit, and the movies are amazing.

I forgot how even amongst the elves there are differences between them! I love that. I think that’s an extra layer that often gets missed. Sort of like in real life there are differences even among the same cultures. Take China for instance, eastern China is what we would normally think of with like rice, kimonos, dragons, etc. but western China is very different in the way they dress, live, and even the dialect they speak. So cool.

Oh I love your point about families being different. My family is known for being loud lol.
