Activity

Not so good:

Shiv paused, and glanced down the white hallway. It was so different here than outside. So much cleaner and bright almost to the point of blinding. He shrugged. He wasn’t here to view the scenery.

He took several wrong turns before finally landing at the the door the he thought must be it. Shiv pushed it open.

“You have finally made it here.” The elf was tall, with sandy blond hair and a brilliantly red coat.

Better (maybe):

The white hallway gleamed where the outside had faltered.

Shiv took no time to admire.

Or stop to figure out which way to go.

He slid to a stop. It had to be this door. He took a breath and shoved it open.

“I’m glad you made it.” Shiv gasped. It was like looking in a mirror.
