Thank you for the input! I’m still thinking about the bottom three points (Since they’re kinda contingent on the first point after all), but here’s the general idea I have:

Zalal’s Motive: To finally be recognized as the hero/worthy figure he (thinks he) is. This motive being stymied is what caused him to apostatize and change employers.

How he will pursue Motive: By introducing cataclysmic damage to the world and then revealing himself in such a way that he can adopt a “god guise”/similar idea.

The main idea I have for said cataclysm would be Project Revenant.

Project Revenant: Antikraman  believes that the only way to prevent the wrongs he experienced would be to establish order via political/military might- since most other nations have proven themselves unfit for the task, he has decided to achieve it himself. This is to be done via Project Revenant, a series of orbital satellite cannons that would allow him to achieve martial dominance. This satellite network, as well as a supercomputer designed to coordinate them and their defenses, would be designed by AutonoTech with Zalal provided the supernatural backup.

    Questions:
    – Are there any holes in Zalal’s motives/steps to pursue said motive?
    – Are there any holes in Project Revenant and how other members of the Cabal would need to be persuaded into going along with it? An idea I’ve been toying with is that Zalal has a separate group of acolytes (to use an Episode 1 reference, if Zalal is Sidious, then the Cabal is the trade federation while the Acolytes would be Darth Maul) in case he needs to screw the Cabal over/can’t be there personally to do something.
