Hey everyone!
I need to apologize, I’ve not been on here as often as I should, I’ve been a lot more busy with life than usual.😄 Anyways, I have a question, and I hope I’m putting this in the right place!
From your own experience, what type of villain was the most compelling, most understandable, and most unique? Because I’m struggling a bit on how I should portray my villain. He is a large wolf if that helps.
I feel like far too many villains in stories today just want power. They want to rule the world and crush any opposers under his/her feet. That’s great and all, but it feels far too overused, to the point where if that’s your villain’s main goal, he seems sorta flat. I want to create a villain that has depth, one you can sympathize with.
So in other words, my main question is what types of end goals or motives can a villain have that you’ve experienced that has made him seem less like your everyday villain?
Thanks in advance!
