Also, question: is it too late to possibly change the story in some way?  Maybe I’m too much of a horror film buff (or watching Inception before sleep is just not a good idea), but the idea popped into my head that there should be a twist at the end of the story.

I mean, I think the idea was touched upon earlier, but it’s just a personal preference that I enjoy twists so much haha.
Maybe something like the fireplace is dead when Will is in reality, but alive when Alex returns? –Subtly insinuating that his dream might not have ended after all?

Or am I too dark for Christmas haha?  I don’t know, just an idea.  I think what you guys have already, is pretty good!!
