This is totally a random thing but I actually have a sunset painting on my art wall rn that I painted with a specific song quote in mind.

“Light a fire they can’t put out
Carve your name into those shining stars
He said, “Go venture far beyond the shores.
Don’t forsake this life of yours.
I’ll guide you home no matter where you are.”

The context of the song is a father reminding his son to live life to the full. Here’s the chorus if anyone is curious:

One day my father—he told me,
“Son, don’t let it slip away”
He took me in his arms, I heard him say,
“When you get older
Your wild life will live for younger days
Think of me if ever you’re afraid.”
He said, “One day you’ll leave this world behind
So live a life you will remember.”

Maybe we could do something with the idea that most people only go out while the sun is up but they’re missing a whole other adventure once the sun sets. In my painting, the sun has actually already set and the horizon is still ablaze but the stars are starting to appear. It reminds me to take the road less traveled sometimes and “stay out to see the stars”. Living life to the full, you know? Not just doing what’s normal all the time.

This probably got a little too far from the point. My apologies. XD But who knows? Maybe it’ll spark an even better idea from someone else. 😉
