Ok, this got a little long, and is more of a part of a story than really a description, but I guess that is what we are here to do, right? 🙂

Natasha walked into the café, her eyes roving all over the place, taking in everything. The place was decorated in stylized rustic, the knotted boards and bricking giving it a sense of home-style, but the black trimming and black and white hangings giving it a polished look. Someone had a sharp taste in décor. But there was something wrong. Chance had said he was going to meet her here, but he wasn’t there. No one was there. Not even a barista. Natasha sniffed the air. Another thing wrong. At this time of day there would be coffee brewing in the machine, and fresh baked goods would be set out, enticing costumers to buy them with tantalizing smells. But there was no smell. Something was wrong, eerily wrong, and Natasha was going to find out what.
