Stories needing to simmer was something I had experienced as well. Briefly I wondered how long a good story needed to simmer. Some of my stories had been simmering for the past five years. Possibly longer.“Ah I see. Yes, before this I designed my own covers, it’s pretty easy on Amazon. But not very impressive looking. However, one of my sister’s friends offered to do it for me if I was willing to pay her for the hours she would spend on it. I’m picky when it comes to spending money, but if you’re interested maybe just for future reference, I could give you her information?”
Patience was a important virtue for every writer, weather it was needed to finish long drafts or to not get book covers before the story was ready. At the moment, I hoped I would have the patience to finish my current project, but also the drive to finish it soon.
