@hgm_barnes18 Oh, that makes sense. Thank you for mentioning that! I’m so glad you read it – if there’s anything else you have problems with or think could be better, please let me know!
What I meant when I wrote “lucidity” was limpidness and luminousness and brightness, but if that didn’t make sense, is there another word you would suggest?
And thank you – your comment made my day. 🙂
@eden-anderson Thank you! My idea started out originally inspired by three of my favorite characters from literature. I want to know if you (and anyone else) can guess them. It will help me see if I’ve portrayed them well enough. I only mention little specific trifles that might give them away.
My thoughts behind this story are rather interesting. As I began writing, I had not thought of what it would end up like, but by the end, I realized that it had become more about my life and their lives. I have strived to be like them, sometimes consciously, sometimes not, but I can never become like them. Their characters are so…unattainable. I realized that they are ideals and mystic creatures and my story explains attempts to “become friends” with them. But in the end, it leads me back to discover that I can never enter “faery-land”… too bad. From there, it’s probably just confusing and a little fanciful, but it’s what I wrote.
So yeah! Sorry about the ramble. It’s in my mind, but hard to put down in writing. 😉
