I laugh at the universally shared option of raisin cookies. Due to all the memes I had heard on the subject I doubted anyone made raisin cookies anymore except as pranks for friends or coworkers. Or perhaps sweet old grandmas such as mine.

But what struck me was the line ‘Uniqueness doesn’t define awesomeness.’  The quote rings out in my mind, causing me to smile. I love this quote. In the world of  rebellion simply for the sake of defying authority, how refreshing a thought. This was a reminder that defying exceptions simply to be unique was a empty goal, while the goal of becoming what God had made one to be was what mattered. Or was I the only one that felt the world encouraged people to be rebels simply for the sake of defying authority?

Out loud I said: “I see. Personally I’m not too fond of the name Ally either, but I do like Bible names. Sometimes they’re kind of fun, aren’t they? There’s so many rare ones like Enoch and Asher, that nobody ever knows unless they actually read their Bibles.”

I pour myself a cup of peach tea. “But I was wondering, what sort of stories do you write? I’m always interested in what everyone else is writing, it’s always something interesting. You know that feeling, when you hear a idea which you never would have thought off and yet as soon as you hear it, it strikes you as something intriguing?”
