@evelyn I don’t know what’s going on in your book right there, but it’s funny 😆

Yesterday, (because obviously, I’m late) I wrote 1350 words. (yay me!) *tries to choose a favorite snippet* So you know how I was talking about getting to know my characters actually pretty easy when I started typing? Here’s part of that:

“It’s the strangest thing,” Gina told her as she went over to her bed, putting the steaming cup of tea on the nightstand. “I know that I brought the math textbook back home from school; I just can’t find it!”

“Good thing we don’t have homework today,” Amanda agreed. “You have until tomorrow to find it.”

“God bless no homework the first day of school,” Gina agreed.

“Amen,” Amanda smirked. A bright orange flash of color caught her attention from out of the corner of her eye, and she turned toward it as she placed down her own mug. “Your textbook is under your bed.”

Gina bent over, reaching below her bed and dragging out the book. “Now how did that get under there?”

“With you,” Amanda replied, “there are a million possibilities.”
