@scribbles Well, I’ve written less than 2,000 words since I posted this, all of which was done today. So, definitely not as well as I would like. Thanks for the reminder. 🙂

The premise is that a six-year-old girl named Casse witnessed the execution of her family on the orders of the king. Ten years later she is caught trying to steal from the royal treasury, but they don’t know who she is. Casse is offered the choice of being the queen’s handmaiden or be executed. She has to decide if she can work with the people she has despised and hated with the utmost passion for the past ten years.
